Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 14 July 2026
Cookies are small text files placed on a device when visiting a website. This page explains, in plain terms, what cookies this site uses and why, without any headings numbered like a checklist, since the categories overlap and are easier to describe in a running explanation.
What Cookies Are Used Here. This site uses a small number of cookies. One stores your cookie preferences themselves, so the preference panel doesn't reappear every time you visit after you've made a choice. That cookie is necessary for the site to remember your consent and cannot be turned off, since without it your preferences would be lost on every page load.
Optional Categories. Beyond that necessary cookie, three optional categories are offered through the shield icon in the bottom corner of the screen. Functional cookies remember small preferences, such as form field entries, to make repeat visits smoother. Analytics cookies, when enabled, help understand which pages are visited and how, in aggregate, without identifying an individual visitor by name. Advertising cookies, when enabled, relate to measuring how content is received; this category also covers the choice sometimes referred to under California law as "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information," which can be exercised simply by leaving that toggle off or switching it off at any time.
How Consent Works. On a first visit, a small badge appears on the shield icon indicating that a choice hasn't been made yet. Clicking the icon opens a panel where each optional category can be toggled independently, or where "Accept All" or "Reject Non-Essential" can be selected as a shortcut. Once a choice is saved, the badge disappears, though the icon remains available if preferences need to be changed later. No optional cookie is set before a choice is made.
Third Parties. Where analytics or advertising cookies are enabled, some data may be processed by third-party service providers acting on our behalf, strictly for the purposes described above. This site does not knowingly permit third parties to combine this data with other information they may hold for unrelated purposes.
Managing Cookies Through Your Browser. Most browsers also allow cookies to be blocked or deleted through browser settings, independent of the preference panel on this site. Doing so may affect how the site remembers earlier choices and could cause the preference prompt to reappear.
